Spek.Trum-Flyway

Mar.26, 2012, News

Release Date 03/12/2012

This is the second release for producer Spek.Trum called “Flyway”. Spek.Trum reaches for the sky on this fantastic Drum N Bass track which is a guarantee floor stomper.

“Flyway” was an experimental tune I was working on when I was going through a season of experimenting with different genres of Chillout, Breakbeat, and Trance. The influences that have gone into this song have stemmed from Ambient with a little bit of heavy reese bass. “Flyway” is probably the stepping stone that has paved the way
for the rest of my songs today, as well as the the future”.

Dj Jireh

Feb.25, 2012, featured-artists

My Name is Mauritz Snyman, also known as Dj Jireh. I was born and raised in Rustenburg, South Africa. Fifteen years ago, i had gotten involved in the wrong crowd and I had turned to a life of drugs, girls, and nightclubs. I had dreams of becoming a professional disk jockey. However, drugs had become more important and had taken over my life for over 5 years. I was unable to become a DJ and follow my dreams in music.

The lord rescued me from my destructive lifestyle one night while in the night club. I saw images of death and the name SATAN flashing on the screen. Just then God spoke to me. I was instantly sober due to the shock, and I knew I was waisting my life away.

I was saved in London in 2001, and God radically changed my life. I’ve been clean and sober for the past 10 years! Praise the name of Jesus!

Six years ago, I began to produce music to glorify God. I began learning music production on Fruity Loops. After several years of practicing and producing, I have release my 1st track. My desire is to share my music with others because I believe it is inspired by the Holy Spirit, to be a seed that will grow and bear fruit in people’s lives!

I am very thankful for what Jesus has done in my life. He made me a NEW person! Now I live for Him and my life is His to use for His glory.

DJ ima

Feb.25, 2012, featured-artists

Born and raised in Lisbon Portugal, Emanuel Pedrosa (aka Ima) began his taste for electronic music in 1988, when he first heard the song “Popcorn” from the album “Music to Moog.”

At age 8, he developed great interest in the electronic sounds produced by synthesizers. The years passed, the music evolved, and his taste for melodic sound has also evolved.

He did not have much access to the dance scene at the time, so he followed many shows on VIVA Satellite channel. He was amazed with a massive festival known as Mayday. He developed an interest in trance music and began to follow such artists as ATB, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Andy Moore, Fred Baker, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk etc.

With his love for music and his greatest love, Jesus Christ, a dream and a vision emerged. A dream that Ima would use his gifts to bring something new to the dance scene, with the inspiration of our God.

Since then, Ima has participated in various Christian events, and shared the stage with big names in christian music such as: Hillsong United, Israel & The New Breed, Delirious!, RiverTribe etc.

Inspired by the new up and coming artists, Ima was “encouraged” to love the pumping rhythm, and the heart blowing bass. He produced his first “home made” music at the age of 15. Today, his music represents the true feeling of an Iberian DJ, with moody melodies and “right from the heart” sounds.

∆ZTEK

Feb.25, 2012, featured-artists

I started out having a high interest in House music after fading away from my Old School Rap phase back in 9h Grade. It was at a birthday party where I first DJ’d inside the borders of Saudi Arabia. Yes… It’s a long way away from the usual places most producers are born but if it wasn’t for the place, the people, the culture and the moments I had cranked up the volume blasting down the highways of Riyadh then I wouldn’t be writing this paragraph. As I was stating before, these were the two songs that peaked the crowd at my first gig (which was a success, even though I was mixing with two iPods and a ghetto mixer sitting in between). Riyadh isn’t as advanced as my new place of residency in Toronto, but living there has molded me into a great artist.
