Greg Hobgood

Greg Hobgood was born in Fort Worth, Texas and started his interest in music at a very early age. Greg's early influences include: New Order, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, OMD, The Smiths, 808 State, Orbital, The Prodigy, Joey Beltram, and C.J. Bolland. After getting his first keyboard and playing with several bands through high school, Greg formed Prodigal Sons with high school friend J.R. Barbee. The duo later added DJ Chris White and went on to release 4 CD'S with numerous labels and played several large Rave's in Southern California and Texas. Prodigal Sons separated in 2002.

Around 2009 Greg got back to music production and quickly found himself learning the newest software/ technology and developed his new sound. In 2011, Greg started releasing tracks through his Bandcamp page and later on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play. Greg has also remixed for a diverse list of artists including David Thulin, Crystal Rome, Jason Chatham, Press Play, Taylor Franklyn, Stranger Kings, Amberdehn, Prophecy Of Panic, The Echoing Green, Scott Blackwell and Olivia Broadfield.

In 2014, Greg Hobgood and Crystal Rome released a song and video for "Heaven" featuring Greg Hobgood's remix & the single "Veritas" on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and are working on releasing more tracks, an EP and music video's in 2015.
