Isotop3 (real name Benjamin Havens) was born, raised, and homeschooled in Wellsville, NY. He has been interested in music since he was a baby, when dulcimer music would calm him down when he was upset. His mother is a certified music teacher who has been exposing him to music forever. Later, he discovered GarageBand on a friend’s iMac and fell in love with creating music. At age 12, he was given a MacBook Pro by a close friend, which he used to make more music with GarageBand. At age 15, he got a job at a summer camp and used the money he made that summer to buy PreSonus Studio One and some music gear. Since then, he has been honing his music production skills and is really enjoying exploring the world of EDM, especially Progressive house.
